Paint correction removes the fine layer of scratches and swirls that build up from daily washing, automated car washes, and improper polishing. We use dual-action machine polishers and graduated abrasives to carefully level the clearcoat.

Every correction starts with a wash, clay, and iron decontamination. Then we test a small area to dial in the pad, polish, and machine speed for your paint. The right process for your paint, not a one-size-fits-all approach.

We measure paint thickness before and during work with a paint depth gauge. Correction removes a few microns of clearcoat, and we don't take more than necessary. Your paint stays safe.

PAINT CORRECTION FAQ

Will this remove deep scratches?

Scratches you can catch with a fingernail are through the clearcoat and cannot be fully removed without repainting. Everything above that level, including swirls, holograms, water etching, and oxidation, we can remove or significantly reduce.

Is paint correction safe for my paint?

Yes when done correctly. We use paint depth gauges to monitor how much clearcoat we're removing, and we test spots first to pick the least aggressive pad and polish that gets the job done. We never remove more than necessary.

How long does it last?

Correction is permanent (until new swirls form). The protection you apply after determines longevity. With ceramic coating, results hold for years. With sealant, expect 6-12 months.

Do I need this if I'm getting ceramic coating?

Yes. Ceramic coating locks in defects, so any swirls or scratches underneath will be visible forever. Correction and ceramic always go together, which is why our Superior package bundles single-step polish with ceramic sealant.

Can you do this at my house?

Light enhancement work yes, in a garage with controlled lighting. Heavier correction needs better lighting and climate control, so we may arrange a controlled environment for that work.
